The Good Food Institute Europe is looking for a People Operations Specialist.

The Good Food Institute Europe (GFI Europe) is a nonprofit think tank at the forefront of the movement to transform meat production in order to solve some of the world’s biggest problems, from climate change and global hunger, to antibiotic resistance and animal suffering.

We work with scientists, businesses and policymakers to make plant-based, fermentation-made and cultivated meat (grown directly from cells) delicious, affordable and accessible. As GFI Europe continues to grow, our People Operations team has the exciting mission of developing our function to ensure we’re set up to support each and every one of our team members to have a positive professional journey here. As such, the People Operations Specialist will play a key role in ensuring we achieve operational excellence whilst also contributing to the continuous development of our people policies, practices and experiences.

How you will make a difference

Your role will span the entire employee lifecycle, with particular ownership of select areas. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that People Operations runs smoothly and effectively, delivering a positive People experience to our team.

ApplicationDeadline: Monday 10th February, 23.59pm CET First, fill in the application form, and then answer the written questions. Soon after you submit your application, you will receive an invite via email to complete a short cognitive aptitude test. 1 hour 
Telephone interview Week commencing 17th February A short telephone interview to understand more about your relevant experience and how you would approach scenarios similar to the ones you might face in the role.30 minutes 
Timed Assignment Late February/ early March Two to three written exercises simulating the type of work scenarios you’d be faced with in the role. 2 hours 
Final Interview Early March Interviews will be conducted remotely on Zoom. We know that interviews can be especially stressful for candidates. We’ve put together this guide so that you know exactly what to expect from our process and, hopefully, have a more relaxed experience.1.5 hours 
Reference checks After the final interview, before making a formal offer  We will contact two professional references (at least one of whom has managed you previously) to hear about their experience of working with you. We won’t contact any references without your prior consent.
