Da f\u00fcr Fleisch auf pflanzlicher Basis wesentlich weniger Anbaufl\u00e4che ben\u00f6tigt wird als f\u00fcr die Haltung von Tieren, werden auch bis zu 99 % weniger Ackerfl\u00e4che und Wasser beansprucht. Dadurch k\u00f6nnen Fl\u00e4chen wieder freiwerden, die f\u00fcr eine Renaturierung und andere Zwecke gebraucht werden.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pflanzenbasiertes Fleisch wird in sauberer Umgebung ohne Belastung durch f\u00e4kale Krankheitserreger hergestellt, und es werden keine Antibiotika ben\u00f6tigt \u2013 so tragen diese Lebensmittel dazu bei, das&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/news.un.org\/en\/story\/2020\/07\/1067711\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Risiko von lebensmittelbedingten Krankheiten zu verringern<\/a>, die Wirkung von Antibiotika in der Humanmedizin aufrechtzuerhalten und die Entstehung von neuen Infektionskrankheiten aus dem Tierreich zu verhindern.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"panels__panel panels__panel--opened\"><div class=\"panels__title\"><h3>Wie k\u00f6nnen wir pflanzenbasiertes Fleisch in Europa voranbringen?<\/h3><\/div><div class=\"panels__content\">\n<p>Es braucht neue Inhaltsstoffe und moderne technologische Verfahren, um pflanzenbasiertes Fleisch zu erzeugen, das denselben Geschmack und dieselbe Textur hat wie Fleisch aus der Tierhaltung. Bislang wurden nur wenige der pflanzlichen Proteinquellen, die uns in der Welt zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen, gr\u00fcndlich erforscht und f\u00fcr die Herstellung von pflanzenbasiertem Fleisch optimiert. Wir stehen also bei der Innovation im Hinblick auf Fleisch-, Fisch-, Eier- und Milchprodukte auf pflanzlicher Basis noch am Anfang.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Damit pflanzenbasierte Lebensmittel f\u00fcr die Verbraucher:innen zur ersten Wahl werden, braucht es <a href=\"https:\/\/gfieurope.org\/de\/policy\/public-research-funding\/\">\u00f6ffentliche Investitionen<\/a>&nbsp;in Forschung und Entwicklung, die sich auf die Verbesserung des Geschmacks, die Senkung der Produktionskosten und die Straffung der Lieferketten konzentrieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Ergebnisse der GFI-Marktforschung zeigen, dass insbesondere Investitionen in die Infrastruktur, in die Ausbildung von Arbeitskr\u00e4ften und in die Optimierung von Verarbeitungstechnik entscheidend f\u00fcr den Erfolg von
