Miriam builds partnerships with philanthropic foundations based in Europe to support GFI’s global activities and impact. She collaborates with foundations that share GFI’s ambition to build a more sustainable and equitable food system, identify areas of alignment between our strategies, secure funding and report on impact.
Miriam brings over 20 years of experience in foundation fundraising and institutional partnership development, leading teams at Save the Children UK, Christian Aid and the British Red Cross. She has worked with emergency and development programs around the globe, including gigs with UNFPA, UNHCR and WHO from Denmark to Turkey, and on missions with UNDP, UNODC and FCDO in Pakistan.
