David works to help sustainable protein scientists across Europe access the knowledge, resources, infrastructure, and collaborators to conduct their research effectively.
Areas of expertise: plant-based, fermentation-made and cultivated meat science, sustainable protein research priorities, Europe’s sustainable protein research community, research tools and infrastructure, collaboration opportunities, and centres of excellence.
David leads our research support-related work in the science and technology team, collaborating with scientists, universities, companies, and other partners to foster a thriving research ecosystem across Europe.
His background is in plant biotechnology, technology transfer and IP, project management, academic community-building, and managing scientific research programmes.
